Privacy policy

CloudyHop is a free browser game. You can play without agreeing to optional analytics or personalised advertising.

Game preferences and scores

Control and tutorial preferences are stored on your device. After you successfully save a score, your nickname is remembered on this device to prefill the next score form. You can edit it before saving or remove it by clearing site data. Saving a score publishes your nickname, score and character on the leaderboard. Use a nickname, not personal information. We use run records and essential security measures to protect the game and leaderboard.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits, traffic sources, device details, scores and run duration. Names and run IDs are excluded from analytics events. Google Analytics advertising features are off. Analytics cookies expire after 90 days.

With analytics permission, CloudyHop also records visits and game events for private statistics. A random browser identifier helps count returning browsers and expires after 90 days. It is removed from your device when you withdraw consent. Event records are retained for up to 90 days and cleared when new activity arrives. Names, emails and IP addresses are not included in this statistics dataset.

Advertising

Advertising is being prepared and is currently disabled. When enabled, Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage and personal data to deliver, measure and, if you consent, personalise ads. The consent message provides details of purposes and partners. Declining optional consent does not prevent you from playing. Limited ads may be available depending on your choices and Google's settings.

Your choices

Open Privacy from the game's menu or result screen to manage optional cookie choices. When advertising is enabled, the Google-certified consent message manages advertising and Google Analytics choices. Your old analytics choice will not automatically become consent for advertising. Optional features stay off if their consent status is unknown.

Google and international processing

Google may process information outside your country. Read Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out.
